There is nothing quite like settling down with a good book, I love it when you just can't put a great read down. It's always good if you can share this passion with someone else, plus this is also a great way to get recommendations for your next page turner. However if you are living in France your options could be limited but here are some options you might want to consider:

Buy Online, however this can become expensive. However books do attract VAT in France, unlike in the UK so coupled with offer prices this may offset the postage.

Family and Friends, when you pop back to the UK or vice versa take the opportunity to stock up on a good variety; however this can be a bulky option depending on how you travel.

Book Clubs, set up a book club or book exchange between your Expat and French neighbours within the local community, a good way to get to know each other, share a passion and make new friends. They're quite easy to set up and the books are usually chosen by group members so everyone takes turns and it's a great way to extend your reading material.
